Culver’s Share Night with Fridgebot Fundraiser Recap

The Fridgebot Robotics Team recently partnered with Culver’s in Owosso for a successful fundraiser supporting the upcoming 2026 season. Throughout the evening, team members worked alongside the Culver’s crew—delivering meals to tables, cleaning up, and chatting with guests about our robotics program. It was a great opportunity for the community to meet the students who design, build, code and drive our competition robots.

A special highlight of the night was a visit from Corunna Public Schools Superintendent John Fattal, who stopped by to show his support for the team. His encouragement meant a great deal to our students and added to the excitement of the event.

Thanks to the generosity of everyone who came out, the team raised funds that will help us prepare for the new FIRST Robotics Competition season, which begins on January 10, 2026, with the official game reveal. Events like this make it possible for our students to continue learning engineering, programming, teamwork, and leadership skills throughout the year.

Our team members enjoyed sharing stories from past competitions and talking with guests about how robotics has shaped their interests and future goals. We are grateful for every person who stopped by, said hello, and supported local STEM education.

A huge thank-you to Culver’s Owosso for hosting us and to the entire community for making the night a success. Your support helps Fridgebot move confidently into the 2026 season—and we can’t wait to show you what we build next!
